The Best of Boyle (County) Basket

We would like to shout out a big "THANK YOU!" to those local businesses who donated to the "Best of Boyle Basket" to be a drawing giveaway at the recent Health Fair presented by Whitaker Bank. The Brown Center for aging presented and the event included a symposium on Alzheimers & Dementia.

We, at Cool Jazz Web Design, enjoyed the opportunity to help local small businesses help promote each other!

Cool Jazz Web Design donated our time to request and collect the donations and create the printed displayed for all attendees to see the name, contact information for the local businesses who donated items. Charleston Health Care selected a high-traffic venue for the basket to be viewed and managed the drawing. The lucky winner was Laura Embree of Danville! Congratulations Laura!

Like the businesses represented in this “Best of Boyle” Basket, Charleston Health Care is a locally-owned Boyle County business. They are a third generation family business, proud to serve residents and our local community.

To be included in the basket, each business had to be locally owned and operated -- they could not be a chain or a franchise. We have a tremendous number of fine, locally owned businesses and the basket wasn't big enough to include everyone.
